GSAC LEGAZPI BRANCH moved, June 18, 2021, to a new branch office located at Purok 1 Brgy. 3 EM’s Barrio East, Legazpi City. The transfer ceremony was started with a holy mass officiated by Rev. Aaron C Llasos, followed by the cutting of the ribbon by Director Leonisa Ferreras and Chief Executive Officer Nonito E. Collingwood.
Rev. Llasos conducted the blessing of the branch that was immediately followed by a short program with inspirational messages from Chairman Rene B. Hermo and Director Diogenes Engay. Other members of the board were also present in support for the branch.
The Honorable Mayor Noel E. Rosal delivered a special message while the closing remarks was given by Legazpi Branch Manager Fred Deuna. A simple snacks and lunch were served to grace the occasion, following the strict observance of social distancing and the mandatory health protocols.
Other VIP guests were East West Bank Legazpi Branch Manager Ms. Hazel C. Celestial, China Bank Legazpi Manager Ms. Gigi Caramoan, Albay Dept. of Agrarian Reform representatives and Barangay Chairman Jose T. Pispis.
The new location places the branch in a strategic position to attract more members in metro Legazpi and nearby towns with its welcoming façade and aesthetic office design aside from the ample parking space for visiting and transacting members.
The relaxing and comfortable ambience will instantly be felt by anyone who enters the office. The greetings and hospitality of the branch front-liners will add up to one’s feeling that members are indeed most valued by GSAC.
Legazpi branch has 2,265 regular members, 3,939 associate members with generated share capital of 67 million. As of June 30, 2021, asset size of the branch is recorded at 220 million with deposit base of 104 million (savings & time deposits), and loan portfolio is 198 million. The presence of GSAC in Legazpi City is nearly a decade now since it first opened in the neighboring municipality of Daraga, Albay and shall continue to be the keeper of trust.
